A highland where time flows slowly

We meet at a camp in Bosnia and Herzegovina, right on the border with Montenegro. This is an opportunity to get to know each other, exchange experiences, and ask the guide questions about the tour. We'll spend the night in bungalows.

The route takes us along the canyon of the Piva River, from which we ascend to the slopes of the Durmitor mountain range. The day ends at a camp in Razvršje, a village next to the picturesque tourist town of Žabljak.

We visit one of the most photogenic bridges, the bridge over the Tara River in Đurđevića Tara. From there, we follow the Tara River and ascend to Mount Sinjajevina to Lake Zabojsko, from where we return towards Žabljak.

We pass by Bobotov Kuk, the highest peak of Durmitor, and then descend via Sedlo towards the Nevidio Canyon. From there, we climb on a gravel road to the Morača Mountains and Kapetanovo Jezero (Captain's Lake), where we spend the night.

From the Morača Mountains, we descend towards Međurječje and drive over the Komovi mountain range to Rikavačko Jezero, where we will camp.

From Rikavačko Jezero, we head towards the picturesque town of Kolašin. From there, we drive towards Biogradska Gora National Park and Šiško Jezero, where we spend the night. Depending on the group's agreement, there is a possibility that local shepherds will host us in their "katuns" with food and drinks.

The route takes us on a paved road to Prokletije National Park, where we drive on a gravel road to Hridsko Jezero. We end the day in a "katun" in the village of Vusanje.

We drive on a paved road through Albania to the capital of Montenegro, Podgorica, with a short stop to visit the city center. After visiting Podgorica, we drive to Ponikvice, where we spend the night.

From Ponikvice, we drive to Ostrog Monastery, which we will tour. After visiting the monastery, we head towards Danilovgrad and a camp next to the Zeta River, where we spend the night.
